VCOM is a post-baccalaureate professional medical college in Blacksburg, Virginia. VCOM is
located in the heart of the Blue Ridge and Appalachian Mountains. The College's mission is
to prepare osteopathic primary care physicians to serve the rural and medically
underserved areas of the Commonwealth of Virginia, North Carolina, and the Appalachian
